Customers in Europe can now buy crypto with their debit or credit card thanks to a promising partnership.
In a bid to simplify the purchase of crypto and lure new users, crypto-payment enabler BitPay Inc. is collaborating with Simplex Payment Services (an expert processor for card transactions involving digital currency purchases).
Luring New Users to Digital Assets
The launch also includes 45 days of no cardowner fees to attract newbies who haven’t tried digital currencies into crypto. Still, Crypto Exchanges request a transaction charge to buyers purchasing Bictoin, Ether, PAX etc., with their debit or credit card. This charge only appears during a purchase. On the other hand, digital currency exchanges don’t request any transaction fee that passes through ACH.
According to BitPay chief executive Stephen Pair, this move seeks to persuade newbies to buy digital currencies and enjoy hassle-free storage and spending of crypto to Simplex-BitPay integration.
“BitPay wants to simplify crypto adoption, and getting Simplex on board will do away with the need to pass through a crypto exchange to replenish your wallet.”
How to Buy Crypto with Your Credit Card
To buy crypto via the BitPay wallet using your credit card;
- Launch your BitPay Wallet app
- Navigate to the “Buy Crypto” feature
- Choose the wallet you wish to hold your digital assets. Remember, you must choose a wallet that accepts the digital asset you wish to buy i.e, such as Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, PAX, or BUSD.
- A Simplex popup appears in your wallet confirming the purchase as soon as the transaction is successful.
The two firms are betting this simple process will lure reluctant customers to begin using crypto.
